Tuned Up Custom Rods Open House

It’s crazy to think that the week of the First Annual Tuned Up Custom Rods Open House is upon us. We have been talking at the shop for months about wanting to create a way for people to come and see just how each of our rods are made. As a company, we take a tremendous amount of pride in the fact that all our rods are built, by hand, in our shop in Coon Rapids, MN. The choice to build all our rods by hand, here in Minnesota is not the easiest choice, but we fully believe that it is the right choice. And as a potential Tuned Up Custom Rods Customer, you will benefit from the fact that each rod is hand-built right here. You have access to the builders, the building, the whole process if you desire. This offers great peace of mind when making a real investment in a product.

Over the years, our shop has become a place where our customers have come to visit. We love getting to see the people who are using our rods and building a genuine relationship with them. Our doors have always been and will always continue to be open to anyone who wants to come and see our process. So, we figured, “why not make a day of it?”

People planning on coming to our Open House this Saturday, October 12th, will be treated to an all-access experience. You will be able to tour our shop, meet our rod builders and ask them questions about how they work, as well as watch them work on actual rods, meet many of the top Pros in the upper Midwest, including James Holst of In-Depth Outdoors, and score exclusive show deals and products.

For those who are feeling lucky, or generous or both; we will be having a raffle to win a one of a king TUCR LTP ice rod, complete with an Okuma Avenger Baitfeeder reel and the brand new iFishPro 2.0 tip up! A prize valued at over $200! Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 during the Open House, and every dollar collected will be donated evenly to Feed My Starving Children and the Coon Rapids Fire Department.

We are so excited to see so many of you on Saturday. Looking at the forecast is getting us in the mood to talk ice fishing. We hope to see you there
