Purchasing Protocol

All payments are processed immediately upon placement of order. An email confirmation will be sent through the email address provided.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders placed with Tuned Up Custom Rods may be cancelled by the customer prior to the item having shipped and it is not a custom color or a custom order.
All cancellation requests must be made through the General Shop Number 612-408-5590 or Sales@Tunedupcustomrods.com
You must provide the order # when contacting us via phone or email.
If the item/package has shipped, the order may not be cancelled and the customer must follow all rules applicable to returns.
Please note that the return of the item/package will be made at the customer’s expense.
Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.

Return Policies

  1. Ice rods

All sales of Ice rods are returnable as long as the rod is in sellable condition. Meaning not used in any matter. The rod must be returned in 60 days for a refund and is subject to a 25% restocking fee. Any usage with be subject to a higher restocking fee pending what condition the rod is in.

  1. All Other Purchases

Return shipping is solely the responsibility of the customer.
If the purchased item(s) is defective or damaged upon receipt, or if the customer is not satisfied with a purchased item(s) and wishes to return it for a refund or replacement, the customer may return the item(s) to Tuned Up Custom Rods WITHIN 30 DAYS of the date of receipt of delivery of the purchased item.
All returns MUST INCLUDE original receipt/sales order along with a note or warranty form what is wrong with the item and the reason for a return.

All returned items must be in the same condition as when they were shipped by Tuned Up Custom Rods and must be returned in original packaging.
The customer will be assessed a re-stocking fee up to 25% of the product sales price if the items
are not returned in resalable condition, as determined in the discretion of Tuned Up Custom Rods.
Amending Orders

An Ice Rod/Open Water order maybe changed, but the due date will change. We will advise on how this impacts the delivery timeframe and is subject to extra costs if the rod is more expensive than the original order.

Shipping Times

Due to the high seasonal/holiday order volume, shipping times will vary during the holidays.
Non-holiday shipping is typically 5 days for your order to ship. This is separate from build lead times which are normally 4-5 weeks.

Shipping costs are calculated per item.

Website Terms

We do our best to accurately describe the items we sell, but errors do occur.

Tuned Up Custom Rods reserves the right to edit, change, or clarify descriptions at any time to correct errors in product listings. In the event of inaccuracies in the description of an item, we reserve the right to remove the conflicting information once notified. We make no warranty on the accuracy of a product listing when a conflict in the product information is present. Photos are provided for general identification purposes only and may show optional or additional pieces for illustration purposes. Please refer to the product description for details.

Tuned up Custom Rods is not responsible for website performance in any particular browser or the inability for a user to use the website due to, but not limited to, internet connection issues, outages, coding issues, or compatibility.

Order Tracking

Please when checking on the status of an order email Sales@Tunedupcustomrods.com Allow 3 days to get an accurate track on where the order is.

In-Store Pickup

When placing the order please put in the comment section for in store pickup or call us to place and order. We will refund the shipping amount when the order is processed. Refer to our open store hours for pickup times as they may vary throughout the season.
