I'm a 37-year-old lifelong angler of all freshwater species specializing in pound plus panfish of all stripes. I am a published outdoor sportswriter and involved with the marketing of the brand. I am a long-time user of Minnesota made Tuned Up Custom Rods. I live near Lake Mille Lacs with my Girlfriend and beautiful, 3-year-old daughter. I've been called one of the best panfish anglers around by a number of people in the industry for my ability to track down truly trophy specimens from public waters in very pressured environments. I don't guide and I mostly fish alone because of this pressure. I manage 65 Bait and Tackle which allows me to get out fishing during the weekdays when the shop is slower and the lakes are quieter.
